Anthony Weiner Used $13,000 in Campaign Cash to Hire Private Investigators During Scandal

Disgraced former Rep. Anthony Weiner used more than $13,000 in campaign funds to hire private investigators to probe the so-called “hacking” of his Twitter account — despite later taking responsibility for the leaked photos that led to his resignation from Congress.

Weiner paid T&M Protective Services of Manhattan $13,290 for “legal services” in the fourth quarter of 2011, Federal Election Commission financial disclosures filed Tuesday show.

But according to the New York Daily News, Weiner really hired the firm to do investigative work in the thick of the scandal last summer.

  1. Weiner should join NYS Senator Karl Kruger in his Fed. Prison Cell. Kruger is facing 11 years because he copped a plea so he won’t get 50 years for embezelling/ bribery to fund his Bently & Mill Basin Mansion that he shared with his boyfriend an OBGYN who also plead guilty. The 3 can have a threesome in the cell. Scumbags get elected to get rich while the rest of us are unemployed or underpaid. The media has hushed Kruger’s snetencing date in April 2012 and nothing has been written about Weiner’s stealing campaign funds to cover his penis twitter. What about Obama’s bailing out the solar energy Solanyga Corp. that he got his pals to invest millions in and is he getting any $ from his pals after the bailout using our tax $? The dirt is eveywhere.
