Obama wins Florida, Final Electoral Vote Tally Obama 332, Romney 206

The votes have all been counted in Florida, the last of the states to declare a winner.  In the final tally, Obama beat Challenger Mitt Romney by a mere 74,000 votes or 50.6% to 49.1%.

President Obama received 92,075 more votes than he did in 2008, Mitt Romney received 222,794 move votes than John McCain did in 2008.  While President Obama lost millions of votes nationwide, he increased the number of votes that turned out in states that ultimately mattered in this election.  In the final analysis, Romney’s additional 223K votes proved to be 74K short of winning the state.
