With one USDA employee for every eight farmers, “The agency notes on their web site if they were a private company, they would be the sixth largest private company in America,” Dr. Coburn said. “Sequestration gives us a good time to start looking at priorities…we ought to cut out wine out wine tastings for federal employees and keep the meat inspectors employed.”
