McCain, Graham want Rand Paul to Calm Down

Guess that Free Dinner last night at the White House paid off.  Seems McCain wants Rand Paul to Calm Down and understand that killing Americans without due process is good for America.

Even most defense conservatives are getting tired of Trillions going over seas to fight endless wars.  Could someone please show these Congressman to the Door?

The anti-Rand Pauls, Sen. John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, took to the Senate floor this morning to defend killing American citizens at presidential discretion. Graham is doing so live on C-SPAN2 right now, saying that everything you do is a danger to America no matter who or where you are, as long as the U.S. government has decided you have “joined al-Queda,” whatever the hell that means.

Earlier John McCain said, as Business Insider reported:

“Calm down, Senator,” McCain said, in an admonition to Paul. “The U.S. government cannot randomly target U.S. citizens.”

DRONE STRIKES: Washington debates oversight

But Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain, one of Obama’s fiercest critics in Congress, said that kind of oversight would be an “encroachment” on presidential power.

“What we really need to do is take this whole program out of the hands of the Central Intelligence Agency and put it into the Department of Defense, where you have adequate oversight, you have committee oversight, you have all the things that are built in as our oversight of the Department of Defense,” McCain said on “Fox News Sunday.”

“Since when is the intelligence agency supposed to be an air force of drones that goes around killing people?” McCain asked. “I believe that it has to be the Department of Defense.”
