The Boston Police posted to their twitter account moments ago that three additional Marathon bomber suspects have been taken in to custody. A source told Politisite that the three arrested could be charged with hiding evidence, lying to police and possibly harboring fugitives from justice. The suspects have yet to be identified. “Additional details will be provided when they become available,” police said in a statement.
“It’s happening right now,” Shea said.
Investigators had previously identified two suspects, ethnic Chechen brothers they said placed pressure-cooker bombs at the race’s finish line on April 15.

Update: Who are Azamat Tazhayakov and Dias Kadyrbayev
The other two suspects are identified Azamat Tazhayakov and Dias Kadyrbayev of Kazakhstan, according to CBS affiliate WBZ-TV.
Here’s what we know about the two Kazachs:
- Their attorney told the AP that they have been in jail for more than a week on allegations that they violated their student visas while attending the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with Tsarnaev.
- A source told NBC the suspects were roommates of Tsarnaev.
