Obama: odds of dying in terror attack lower than dying in car accident, unfortunately

“The odds of dying in a terrorist attack are a lot lower than they are of dying in a car accident, unfortunately.”

Seems Obama says it is unfortunate that terror deaths are lower than car accident deaths.

So what are the Odds?

Oh boy. What about compared to a shark attack? Or being struck by lightening during a shark attack?

Anyway, President Obama finally consented to some questions on the terror threat to the nation, answering, as I predicted, to the queries of a comedian, Jay Leno. With predictable results.

From the report of the press pool that covered Obama’s taping of the Tonight Show:

ObamafollowmePOTUS said the U.S. was not overreacting.

POTUS said people can still take vacation, just do so in a “prudent way” by checking on the State Department Websites for up-to-day information before making plans.
