Monday, September 9,  the President will attend meetings at the White House.

Tuesday, September 10, the President will address the nation from the White House.

us-whitehouse-logoWednesday, September 11, the President, the Vice President, the First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden and White House staff will gather on the South Lawn of the White House to observe a moment of silence to mark the 12th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The President will then travel to the Pentagon Memorial to attend the September 11th Observance Ceremony.

Thursday, September 12, the President will hold a Cabinet Meeting. The Vice President will attend.

Friday, September 13,  the President Obama will welcome to the White House the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Shaykh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah. The United States and Kuwait have a strong relationship, reflecting our common strategic interests, close defense partnership, and shared commitment to promoting peace, economic opportunity, and stability worldwide. The visit will highlight the enduring strength of the U.S.-Kuwait relationship and the friendship between the American and Kuwaiti people. The President looks forward to discussing with the Amir a wide range of critical interests and important developments in the Gulf region and broader Middle East.
