Monday October 28
- 10:00AM – The President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
- 12:00PM -The President will deliver remarks at the installation of FBI Director James Comey at FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC. There will be pooled press coverage of the installation.
- 12:45PM – Press Briefing by Press Secretary Jay Carney
- 3:45PM – The President and the Vice President will meet with Secretary of State John Kerry in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
Tuesday, October 29 –
In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. The President will then meet with senior advisors. These meetings are closed press.
Later in the morning, the President will meet with CEOs to discuss the importance of cybersecurity, the joint efforts by the Administration and industry to develop the Cybersecurity Framework, and ongoing work to implement the Executive Order to enhance the cybersecurity of critical infrastructure. This meeting will be closed press.
Later, the President and the Vice President will meet for lunch in the Private Dining Room. This lunch is closed press.
In the afternoon, the President will attend and deliver remarks at a memorial service for former Speaker Tom Foley at the Capitol. The Vice President will also attend. The memorial service is open to pre-credentialed media.
Later in the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet with Secretary of Defense Hagel in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
Wednesday, October 30 – the President will travel to Boston, Massachusetts.
Thursday, October 31 -President will host and deliver remarks at the SelectUSA Investment Summit. In the evening, the President and the First Lady will welcome local children and children of military families to trick-or-treat at the South Portico of the White House.
Friday, November 1 -the President will host Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki at the White House. The visit will highlight the importance of the U.S.-Iraq relationship under the U.S.-Iraq Strategic Framework Agreement (SFA). The President looks forward to discussing with Prime Minister Maliki efforts to enhance cooperation in the fields covered under the SFA, and to coordinating on a range of regional issues.
